It starts with a plan!

Children read the recipe and they prepare the shopping list. Then, the whole group travels by public bus to the supermarket together to buy the ingredients. They return to the centre, they prepare, they cook… and they get it wrong. But they figure it out and eat what they made.

Is it a cooking class - it sounds like it, doesn’t it? But what’s really happening is children learning that they can plan something, mess it up, do it again, and still feel proud of themselves at the end!

That’s the life skill - the cupcake and pizza are just the proof.
