Annabelle could not read before Primary 1. Her mother enrolled her in night phonics classes just to keep up. She was last in Chinese while both her sisters took Higher Chinese.
In primary school, only the top students got picked for leadership, school teams, overseas trips. Annabelle was not in that group. Not for most of it.

Annabelle spent years as an educator. She worked alongside people who were just there to deliver a lesson. And people who genuinely believed in the children in front of them.
She saw the difference it made. She started Sprouts House because she couldn't find another centre that operated from the same beliefs.
